There’s a scowl on your face and your heart’s hard as stone - Others hold each other close as the nights grow cold - You do your magick by a midnight fire - But try as you may, you can’t bring back the dead - You blame the world for your bitter heart - The people of the town shun you - They say that you’re dangerous, evil - Satan’s right hand - No one knows, and no one cares to know that you’re just lonely - You’re just a normal woman, who’s lover has been lost - Each day you mourn by the grave of your dear departed lover - 2007-03-14 kumquat: 2007-03-14 Jenna Rose: Thank you![Jenna Rose]: 150.Poetry.The Old Witch Lady

It’s no wonder you’re living your life all alone.
You just lay in your bed alone, fading, growing old.
Chanting for your heart’s desire.
You’ll just have to entertain memories of him in your head.
Even though you know it was your fault from the start.
And they teach their children to run from you.
And that you make curses with your herbs, crystals, oils and sands.
Trying to find some way, any way, to bring back your one and only.
And like any normal woman, you’re trying to get him back at any cost.
Wishing and wanting... That love was something you could rediscover.
I adored reading this.
Well done, beautiful :)
